Indian Railways will continue passenger trains. In the wake of coronavirus pandemic in the nation, the railways halted passenger train benefits on March 22. Above of 15 special trains will run from the New Delhi to different urban areas including Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.

Indian Railways will run 15 pairs of special trains every day. Railways will begin progressively special services on new routes dependent on accessibility in the wake of saving 20,000 coaches for COVID-19 care centers and an adequate number for approaching 300 shramik specials daily.

The special stations will run from New Delhi railway station interfacing  Agartala, Dibrugarh, Howrah, Bilaspur, Patna, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Madgaon, Ahmedabad, Mumbai Central,  and Jammu Tawi.

The tickets must be reserved by IRCTC official site or mobile app. No tatkal ticket or premium tatkal reservation will be accessible for these trains. The booking started from 11th May at 4 pm.

Only travellers with affirmed and valid tickets will be permitted to enter the station at Delhi, the Railways cautioned.

The special trains will be air-conditioned, The passage will be equivalent to Rajdhani Express fares. These train will have just a couple of stoppages,’ the railways official said.

Passengers will experience a screening before boarding the train. You may need to arrive at station ahead of schedule to follow all the standards.

Only asymptomatic people or the those who don’t show any symptoms of coroanvirus will be permitted to travel.

Wearing masks during the journey will be required. Different rules and regulations will be referenced in the tickets. Travellers must install Arogya Setu app to travel, as indicated by news source.

In request to guarantee the exacting consistence of social distancing standards, all seats won’t be accessible for booking in the passenger trains, said Union minister of state for Railways, Suresh Angadi on Monday.

Passengers going in these trains may not be given masks and cloth to lessen the odds of the spread of coronavirus, authorities told. There will be special standards for the air-conditioning inside the coaches.
