CA CPT Final Results Nov/Dec 2015 : ICAI CPT Exam Result 2015 is available Now. The Chartered Accountants (CA) final examination and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) were conducted in November/December. The results for the same are likely to be declared today, i.e on January 17 around 2 pm by the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India. The CPT is the first stage of Chartered Accountancy exams in the country. The candidates who have completed class 10 are eligible for this exam. A merit list will also be prepared and the candidates who have appeared for the same can check it out at the official website.

As per official website : The CA Results 2015 to be declared by ICAI on 17 Jan 2016 around 2 PM at http://icai.nic.in. Common Proficiency Test held in November and December, result for same will be declared by ICAI at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India official result portal.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce the result of Common Proficiency Test held on Sunday, 13 Dec 2015 in two sessions. The merit list of candidates who appeared for the CPT will soon be available on ICAI website. Students need to enter their registration number or PIN numbers along with their roll numbers to know the results.
How To Get Common Proficiency Test (CPT) Result 2015 through SMS:
Candidates who appeared for the CA CPT need to send CACPT (space) six digit CPT roll number to 58888.

Steps to Get the CPT result
- Log on to the website www.icai.nic.in
- Under ‘Register here to receive the results in your mail box’, click on ‘For CPT Results’
- Enter your name, roll number, email
- Click in ‘Register Me’
All those registering their requests will be provided their results through e-mail on the e-mail addresses registered immediately after the declaration of the result. Also, for accessing the result on the website, the student shall have to enter his registration number or PIN number along with his roll number.
CPT paper pattern
The paper was of objective type and consisted of 200 multiple choice questions, covering four basic subjects divided into two sections, namely:
- Accounting (60 marks) plus Mercantile Law (40 marks)
- Economics (50 marks) plus Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks)
Last held in paper pencil mode in December 2015, the exam was conducted by ICAI in all over India’s centers and lakhs of students had appeared for the same.
Common Proficiency Test Exemption
But with effect from 3rd Aug 2012, CPT is exempted for the Graduates, Post Graduates and the students having equivalent degrees. Commerce graduates with 55% and other graduates with 60% can take direct admission for IPCC
