Tripura Election Results 2018: Tripura Assembly Elections were held on 18th February across the state. The Tripura Legislative Assembly Elections held for 60 Assembly Constituencies. Communist Party of India (Marxist) is the ruling party in the state of Tripura while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the opposition party. Shri Manik Sarkar is the chief minister of the state and Tathagata Roy is the Governor. Sriram Taranikanti is the present chief election commissioner of Tripura state.

Tripura Assembly Election Results 2018 – Live Vote Counting Updates, Winners List Name Wise

Tripura Assembly elections vote counting will be done on 3rd March. The vote counting and the result announcement will be commencing on the same day. As per the predictions,  the ruling party Communist Party of India (Marxist) is having the large scope for the victory. The state is spoken to in the Indian Parliament by two directly elected members in the Lok Sabha and one indirectly elected member in the Rajya Sabha. Jharna Das of the CPM is the current Rajya Sabha MP of the state. The Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Indian National Congress (INC) are the ruling political parties of the state. Manik Sarkar of the CPI(M) has been the Chief Minister of the state since 1998. The Left Front, a cooperation including CPI (M), CPI, Forward Block and Revolutionary Socialist Party, has been in control in the state since 1978, with the exception of in 1988 when the INC shaped the legislature.

The last election for the Tripura Legislative assembly was in Feb 2013. The CPI (M) won 49 out of the 60 party seats. The CPI won just 1 situate while the INC oversaw 10 situates in the election. Manik Sarkar of the CPI (M) turned into the Chief Minister of the state for his fourth term.

The Speaker of the present State assembly is Ramendra Chandra Debnath. The Deputy Speaker of the assembly is Pabitra Kar‎. The Leader of the Opposition is Sudip Roy Barman of the BJP. Few of the people from the Assembly are Pranab Debbarma and Ratan Lal Nath. The Tripura Assembly elections were successfully held on 18th February across the state.
