Supreme Court Orders to Play National Anthem at Cinema Halls before the Film
On Wednesday, 30th November Supreme Court has declared that it is mandatory to play the National Anthem at cinema halls before each show begins. Supreme Court of India has confirmed that playing a 52 second National Anthem is a must. The court has taken this decision to respect the national anthem and also expressed that,
“There should not be any commercial exploitation of the national anthem,” the court said.
Earlier this move has been taken in some states such as Maharashtra etc while at that time some social issues have happened due to people are not standing up for the anthem. It is our courtesy to respect the Nation and anthem and it is not the occasion for any sort disturbances.
“Citizens must respect the national anthem and the national flag,” news channels quoted the top court as saying.
