Step 1: For locking the net banking, visit the SBI portal, onlinesbi.com
Step 2: On the homepage search for the option “Lock and Unlock user” and click on it
Step 3: The new window will be displayed with the drop-down menu, select’ Lock user Access’ option and enter your details like internet banking username, account number, and captcha code.
Step 4: A new pop-up will open after submission of the details
Step 5: There will be options:
- “You can lock your internet access if you feel there is any unauthorized access/transaction being performed in your account.”
- “The scheduled transactions and standing instructions if any set by the user, will continue to be active and get executed as usual and there is no change in these processes.”
- If a customer clicks on OK, the customers will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number. After the OTP Verification, internet access will be locked and access to internet banking will be locked.
