How To Get Rupees 5 Special Discount on LPG Cylinder Online Booking Payment

The LPG Gas Cylinder has announced a discount of Rs 5 on online booking. Users can utilise this facility and book the LPG cylinder online from now on. To encourage digital payments Government has come with this new scheme on LPG Gas cylinder booking.

State-possessed fuel retailers, Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd (BPCL), Indian Oil Corporation (IOC),  and Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) will offer,

“an upfront discount of Rs 5 on every LPG refill to all LPG customers who will book and pay for it online,” an official statement said here.

To give cashless transactions the government had requested that oil organizations pay buyers 0.75 for each penny discount on cashless fuelling of petrol and diesel at petrol pumps. This has now been stretched out to cooking gas (LPG).

“Customers can make payment through existing online modes i.e net banking, credit and debit cards at the time of web-booking their refills,” the statement said.

On doing as such, clients will get the reduced sum showed on their screens. This net sum payable will be rbe retail selling price minus incentive amount of  Rs 5 for each chamber.

“The net discounted amount will also be shown on the cash memo accompanying the homedelivery of the LPG cylinder,” it said.

A financed LPG cylinder of 14.2-kg right now costs Rs 434.71 in Delhi. A non-financed container of similar size, which customer not having a sponsored association purchase, costs Rs 585. Even for the subscribed clients, non-subscribed LPG cylinder is also they need to purchase subsequent to depleting their amount of 12 jugs at sub-market rates.

Petrol and Diesel rates to come down for cashless payments

The oil firms offer a 0.75 for each penny discount on the cost of petrol and diesel to buyers paying via cards or mobile wallets to push people towards cashless payments despite an extreme trade crunch brought out by the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes. Such discount is credited to client’s record by method for ‘money back’ within maximum three working days.

Petrol at present costs Rs 70.60 a liter in Delhi and the discount converts into 53 paisa. Likewise, on the cost of Rs 57.82 for diesel, the discount comes to 43 paisa for each liter. Expressing that the rebates are planned to urge customers to progressively move to digital payment modes to accomplish the target of no-money or less-money based transactions.

 “The incentive will encourage more and more LPG consumers to go for cashless mode transactions.”
