Banks to Remain Open/ Works On November 12th & 13th (Saturday & Sunday) i.e in Public Holidays
Reserve Bank of India – RBI has reported today about the Bank holidays. As per the announcement of RBI, the banks will be opened for all regular activities on holidays, i.e, on 12th November Saturday and 13th November Sunday. This is the great news for many of the people who are waiting to complete their transactions. Recently on 8th November RBI has announced the holidays on 9th and 10th November for all banks due to some activities to undergo regarding the cancellation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 Notes. In order to recoup from the loss and due to public demand the Government has taken this decision to open banks on 12th and 13th November.
Banks and ATMs Works In Regular Hours on 12th and 13th November Also
During these days, customers can visit their corresponding banks for all transactions. Also clients who wish to deposit / exchange their old currency notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 can also do their works without any disturbances. Also all bank ATMs will work as usual from 11th November onwards.
The Reserve Bank of India has announced this important information to all citizens of India through its Twitter Account on Today, 9th Nov at 4.52PM. Clients can also check the official information from the RBI’s Twitter Account.
Under this announcement, All the Private, Public, Local, Foreign, Regional, Rural, Small Finance, Cooperative banks will be working on 12th and 13th November. Hence all the clients who are waiting to finish their pending works can carry forward during 12th and 13th of November.
