Many students have appeared for the exam conducted by the TOSS and now all the students are eagerly waiting for the results release. The Telangana Open School Society works towards identifying the educational needs of the students of the state who are generally not catered to by the formal system of school education. It works with an objective to provide opportunities for school education up to pre-degree level through open and distance learning (ODL) mode. It promotes standards of learning in open and distance learning system. It works to design and develop courses, self-instructional materials and other learning support for the courses identified at different points of time.

It organizes orientation and training programmes for the functionaries of the open schooling system in the state. To collaborate with other agencies within and outside the state for developing and delivering skill oriented courses of study. It works to promote and publicise open schooling programmes and activities in the state.  Along with providing academic courses, TOSS also provides vocational courses to the students. The courses will be implemented through identified Government/Municipal/Aided/Recognized High Schools, which are commonly known as Accredited Institutions in the state.
