Bombs Exploded at Istanbul Ataturk International Airport:
Three bombs have exploded in Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport at local time of 10.30pm. This disaster was attempted by the suicide bomb blasters. The Turkish authorities are suspecting that this attack would be made by Islamic State Militants. As per the reports says, minimum 36 people lost their lives in the Istanbul bomb blasts. And 147 people were seriously injured in this tragedy.
Turkish Prime Minister Yildirim React Seriously On these bomb blasts
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has stated that 35 people were killed in the blasts; the victims might be the foreigners. Among the dead people, there are 5 Airport officers were also there. As per the latest reports, 147 people were severely injured in blasts. Yildirim also expressed that the aggressors touched base at the airplane terminal by taxi and that underlying discoveries point to Islamic State obligation (IS, beforehand ISIS/ISIL) for the attackers.
“It showed once again that terrorism is a global threat and defeating it requires global cooperation. All early indications suggest that the IS was behind the atrocity, but the investigation is ongoing,” the Prime Minister said.
This is how the Blasts Took Place in Istanbul Airport Terminal
The attackers on the air terminal included three suicide bombers, as indicated by Yildirim. Examination uncovered that each of the three opened flame before exploding their dangerous gadgets. On Tuesday evening, three suicide aircraft raged the airplane terminal with ambush weapons and opened shoot before exploding themselves. One of the aggressors discharged shots from a programmed rifle in the flights corridor, as indicated by Reuters. Each of the three supposedly exploded their dangerous gadgets around the entry lobby.
Four equipped men were purportedly seen fleeing from the terminal working after the blasts, as per Turkey’s NTV channel. As per some Turkish media, the impacts focused on two separate areas in the air terminal. According to eyewitness accounts cited by Reuters, one of the assailants “randomly opened fire” in the terminal prior to the blasts. Another witness said the initial two explosions were followed by a third one preceded by shooting. “I saw how one terrorist accessed the airport, and he had an AK47 and shot civilians… Turkish police wanted to kill him, and after that I heard the bomb explosion,” Ahmed Furkan Gurtuna, who works as a traffic police officer at the airport and was at passport control at the moment of the attack, told RT.
